Thoughts on repeaters vs inquis (dual crossbows) now? (Read 4409 times)

	Finding a lot of conflicting opinions on this. Some people are saying that repeaters significantly outdamage inquis builds now due to the new Expanded Clip feat, others are saying they only outdamage inquis for burst DPS in raids, others are saying they are about equal. Everyone who is saying repeaters > inquis now seem to be basing it off this thread : https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/529136-U52-Three-repeater-builds-with-... I have no idea how accurate that thread is by the way.

	So has anyone here tried running a repeater build with expanded clip? How does it compare to inquis builds now?

The trick is to put points in Inquisitive anyway to get the big +crit multi active attack (Is it Shoot First or Shoot Later? I forget.) to pair with Hunt's End for a bajillion damage.

	5 Foot Step wrote on Jan 10^th, 2022 at 10:06am: Hunt's End for a bajillion damage. I don't know what "Good" is anymore. But, my Rogue Bow user rocked a ~139k Marked+Sniper+Hunts end shot on the ship dummy. I assume with debuffs on a redname that could be 200k+.

	So from asking around, it seems that the big strength of repeaters is actually due to ED procs? Since repeaters proc random effects a lot more often?
