Well genius, there was a big (HUGE, really) exploit going on. In fact there were several exploits going on. Besides the Hood exploit (you could use it almost at will despite the fact it had 1 charge), there was a dupe exploit where Otto's boxes were being duped (no surprise there), and there was a card dupe exploit happening. Orien was the epicenter of it all. The Cleansing Card was one of the favorite targets of the dupers. Pay attention, Sleepy.

	I fondly remember duppapalooza. And afterwards I was (un)happily banned for 3-4 weeks and extreeeeeeeemmm prejudically cleansed as they logged on all my toons and cleaned them out one at a time. Every stackable item in bank, inventory and reincarnation cache was deleted (if baggable or not) and every single bag was manually deleted and recreated. fun times.

	SSG does not even react on Video evidence. There was a guy that had multiple clips online and I am pretty sure he got reported because he was an ass. Nothing happened. My guess is, they do roll a dice.

I strongly believe there was no "SQL query". There would have been many more bans if so. Someone reported you probably. Maybe a rando and it was bad luck. Actually, at one point I heard they had devs or GMS watching certain areas like banks. So, doing dupes on ships and/or less common banks became a thing. <shrug>. Many (most?) of the duped items from those days that weren't used still exist.

From dupapalooza? I think you underestimate how many were doing it. If you were a guild member and playing endgame content, I'm guessing 80%+ were duping during the height of that time. Those were exciting days.

	As long as duping is somehow profitable for SSG (and not destroying ingame economy too much) you are safe. So don't give away stuff, just put on ASAH and you'll be fine And never ever try to dupe shards. Those guys from Reddit who found exploit in monster manual back in the day were permabanned en masse.
