What's the point when they won't update reaper? When Isle of Dread released they were talking about updating it and still no word. Instead we get retarded changes to casters.

I wipe my ass with the thought of playing this game while those fat, effeminate, retards continue to develop this game into my little bronies.

1. Slice of Life has decent gear and is easy to get. Whole sets that can get got in a single quest. Kinda weird tbh. Both the maul and the longsword set are contenders for best in slot atm. No joke.

2. My understanding is that there is a reaper update coming. Not sure it's what you're after. But, it's some version of more challenge.

But the longsword set is just 2 longswords. Did dual wielding come back and I wasn't paying attention?

They also set they were gonna improve VIP. It currently sucks worse than anything has ever sucked in the history of forever.

It's never been fully dead. Still among best for single-target dps. Anyway, knights training feat + these LS is nice (and you can do monk-splits as well)

Well I might farm since its slightly more interesting than the new chronoscope items that don't actually appear to drop. Remains to be seen if I will actually have the patience to play after the irritating round of nerfs.

Overall, you're right. But, the dmg is nearly equal.

I mathed it out for a silvanus pally at cap assuming 300 melee power and 200dmg mod and 100% doublestrike (and that dmg mod is a W.A.G.)

Dino is 16dmg per hit ahead on avg accounting for crits. Higher the melee power, the smaller that number gets. (Any higher melee power OR dmg mod favors the Demolition maul)

However demo maul bypasses all fort on a 20. Hard to know exactly how much that's worth, but it'll close that gap some. Maybe more than that against a raid boss.

The real value of dino is debuff effect and set bonus  (both of which are important, I grant you)

So, the new maul becomes second best in slot and much easier to get.

Its nice to see decent weapons dropping in an adventure pack. Seems like for several years all worthwhile weapons were raid-gated.
