	The primary issue was one of the security modules was set to block proxy access, and apparently decided everyone was on a proxy. Simply disabling that was an adventure of its own, since this account is not a full admin account and the proxy block was preventing me from switching to an actual admin account. Had to dig through the raw files, find where the setting was stored, and disable the associated variable. While on my phone, on a flight, using plane wifi. Yeesh. It appears that we are back online, though I don't have time to do any testing and won't be able to do much more for a few more days - still out of town. So, I don't know what else is broken - please report anything broken to me in this thread or in a PM. Amusing how the Vault always has problems like this when I am traveling. I shit you not, this week I had a conversation with Linus Torvalds and spent several hours drinking beers with Bob C Martin. I guess the next step would be to ask them for help

	Tested so far. I don't get the 'you're using a proxy' messge anymore and I can post.

	So what caused the vault to break anyway? Someone had to change a file or delete something, right? Its a computer, so if it was running correctly one day, it should just keep on trucking, right?

The anti-spam software presumably uses some flag, or config file, or something that determines which addresses are proxies and which are not. There's not a lot of information about the operation of the code in the admin center. Basically just a few checkboxes.
