Only if the kensai is a halfling and I think the "to hit" is based on the same mechanic as thrown weapons, not ranged. Finding a returning kensai halfling is difficult so perhaps Archane archer would be easier overall...

	What are you trying to do? Find a build more gimped than monks and yet still defended just as passionately as actually viable by otherwise intelligent players? See, cause the ranger deep wood pikers suck too, but everybody admits it, so it's no fun to joke around about. Seriously, though, I think AA is about the only game in town for ranged.
