Suggestions for an interesting pure fighter build

I have done one pure fighter build and it wasn't the most exciting. This has got me wondering *is* there an interesting pure fighter build out there? One that is fun to play? This may just be a personal taste thing here so apologies to any max str, max con, pure fighters

What do you mean by "interesting"? A tactics kensai will have lots of buttons to punch in combat, which would probably keep me entertained.

(Sounds like too easy an answer though, so maybe it's not what you meant.)

You could go 1/2ling and pick up the healing dmarks to be different. I just ran up a 12ftr/6pal/2mnk 1/2ling with the dmarks. It is a fun character to play.

Or if you want to make Min-maxers' heads explode, you could make an Elven scimmy Kensei with the displacement DMs.

You could also make a halfling weapon finesse fighter and only use 1 short sword.  For that roleplayer feel, just give me the character name so i can squelch you real quick...

I'm enjoying the hell out of my pure Fighter Pick Kensai, but I will absolutely admit that he can't yet take care of his own red bar.

I like the idea of the Blitz build.  Fighter and Barbarian plus two Rogue levels just because you don't get much extra from another two Fighter or Barb levels.

12 Fighter Kensai II
6 Barb Frenzied Berserker I
2 Rogue gives some sneak attack damage + UMD

I really like the idea of a DPS that can throw an occasional Heal scroll/Fire Shield/Displacement/etc.

nah... it's a char i dont' play i'm thinking of doing a pure fighter life on.

*pure* is the key word here - looked at all these other mixed buids and yeah they do look fun.

ty suggestions. i've never done dms on anything and i would indeed have feats to burn here...

Hehe, that is truly gimp. At least the Elven Kensei would be a decent approximation of a high-DPS build. Tongue

Definitely a shuriken specced Halfling fighter, though, if we really want to get ridiculously bad.
