Robe is amazing for palemasters.

Yeah but that's about it. At least Cove has shit for just about every class, and a large selection.

Mabar has so few, and much more narrow items - (admittedly awesome) Palemaster robe (and clicky for UMD Talibans), undead monk wraps, and a defensive cloak for everyone that is not a monk or a PM. Yawn. AND the stuff bind to character.

And the gameplay is total shit in Mabar - you stand around (or run around after you get bored out of your mind) waiting for spawns. In Cove you at least have to be active, run torches, scout, manage the mobs etc etc. While in Mabar you watch a film while hitting your Positive Energy Burst.

I will maybe get another levelling robe for TRing my PM and maybe make some Oil of Incandescence and that's it.

Well, the Smuggler's Rest area of cove(which is more accurately comparable to Mabar's Graveyard part) is about the same: Stand/run around and kill things for drops and keys. Granted, pirates need you to actually work a bit to kill them unlike the one-click PEB-blasted undead. Plus the pirates can drop maps to respawning chests so you can get some halfway decent gear/vendor-trash/decon-essences out of them(and gold to recoup repair costs).

The Cove itself would be more comparable to the Spectral Dragon raid. In this case, CC pwns Maban gameplay even MORE.

There is just one thing that you all are forgetting, CC sucks.  Sure Mabar sucks as well, but are you really going to compare them? It is like comparing Pathfinders to 4e D&D.  Who cares which sicks more, they both are fucking trash.

Yeah well I never ran around in the Cove outdoor area. The freetards happily run around and get the map pieces anyway, and the compasses cost a couple of dubloons. You just go get a drink for 10 minutes, chat with your guildies or whatever and then you do two other 20 minute Cove instances. In Mabar you have to spawn-camp the vampires and whatnot to get the crafting materials themselves, and you have to do many minutes of this Everquesting to very few minutes of the instance. Which is also a lot of waiting around.

And grinding CC cove, while mind-numbingly boring after the first couple of runs is worth it in output. Getting bound to account +160 SP or perma-blur etc. at level 4 is nice, especially now with Bravery bonus and ELite streaks. Mabar just has nothing in the ballpark apart from the PM robe. Yeah both are vicously boring after a couple of runs (Mabar sooner than CC) but at least you are getting something out of the CC grind.

Freudian slip? Still, I approve.

When people bring in their personal lives, it is all fair game.  This board promotes trolling.  If you bring something up, expect it to be used against you at a later date if not immediately.  You want to bring up personal shit, well, that is your problem.

If one fails to understand the nuances of elite level trolling they would falsely interpret posts meant to fan the flames as support.
