Scrolls of Masterīs touch and me

So there am I again in the Portable Hole drinking a beer, buying some GH scrolls, some teleport scrolls, this...that... the normal stuff. Ok, lets go back home...and then I see them again...the vendor sees me:
"Hey, Mr. Azog, how are you? No scrolls of Masterīs touch today? They are freshly written"
"No, really, thanks, I am in a hurry..."
"Cīmon, you  have come all the way to the Portable Hole and you are leaving without these nice scrolls?"
"Well, ok...  Embarrassed ...ehh gimme a few.."
"50 is okay?"
"Nonno, just 10, gimme just 10"

Back to the Marketplace, I go to the AH and post them for 200x the original price.
I have spent maybe some millions in crafting, but I giggle like a retard with a whistle when another retard buys my overpriced useless scrolls and get some thousands plat...

All fine and good, but I really ask myself who the fuck buys scrolls of Masterīs Touch and what for? Maybe dual wield scimitars with a non-elf rogue? Why would somebody do that?

Scrolls of Master's Touch are definitely for 60 Toughness Feats S&B Bastard sword fighters, cause they obviously can't effort a profiency fear and/or Khopeshes.

My khyber fvs uses earthgrab heavy picks with master's touch scrolls.

Unfortunately that was only effective when we still had autocrits.

Now it's a stupid gimp.

Sticking with the "I completely missed the point" theme, bastard swords and khopeshes are exotic weaps...master's touch grants proficiency up through martial.

I use them on my longsword specialist FvS for the Cove scimmies, and would use them for the air rapier thingies were I not to have a better crowd control set. Might get some calomel scimmies for her at some point if I'm bored too, I guess.

Having said that, I just make my pale master my bitch and go and get them from the Portable Hole myself. I guess someone with no UMD for teleport scrolls on any toon might not be aware they are rare. If they have no friends and whatnot.

But then I bought a kobold shaman the other day off the AH so I should probably not kvetch about people's strange buying habits Cheesy

So, yes, my basic thought was: If somebody knows how to make really a good use of Masterīs Touch, that person should know about the Portable Hole.
So I think I am just scamming some newbs or some n00bs (I have this friend-the dwarf barbarian Axer style-with capped toons that after a year and a half didnīt know about the 4 chests in Xorian Cypher... I was so shocked that I forgot to mock him...)

Non-rapier, Non-khopesh using rogues.
This can actually happen, as one of the better trash weapons for an Assassin is a Midgnight Greetings, suggesting to take IC:Slash rather than IC: Pierce, but if you can't afford the Khopesh feat, the only Slashing weapon rogues are naturally proficient in are Sickles which are a rather bad choice for most boss fights. If you want to use Scimitars, MT is your friend.

Weren't autocrit mobs automatically hit on any roll higher than a 1?  Cheesy

I totally forgot how all mobs were naturally in autocrit, straight out of the box.  Silly me.

They're pretty useful on sorc's/fvs's below level 10 if you have a carnifex laying around.

At that level, especially with the chronoscope gloves, even non-melees can outdamage spellcasters with a melee weapon and a master's touch scroll.

I mostly save them for dumb groups when I don't want to waste SP. Thankfully they drop so often I've never had to buy one.

However you can hand the scrolls to someone else who can give you proficiency with that nice axe.
