I think I will continue to chew through a daily diet of current expansions on the Soul, because no matter how sexy some of the stuff looks, it isn't anywhere near as flexible as the token system, and I can see farming for, say, 4 slots and then wanting to fill in the rest through current complimentary epic gear, in theory. I certainly won't do anything world shattering on day 1. I was excited for druid, but my limited play on Lama made me think Arti in alternate skin. And Arti still feels unfinished to me - I feel sorry for the newbs that plonked down TPs for it (even though it was an unholy pain to unlock...).

Well, the forged fighter's gone over to the flesh side finally. Probably gonna hold 18 for a while while I mull over how likely they are to gut evasion soon, seeing as how the difference in PRR just isn't that big when it comes to heavy+shield+stance+destinies vs light+shield+stance+destinies. Likely end up going Dread to Sentinel with a layover to pick up some low hanging fruit from Shiradi.

The wiz/rogue's going to turn into more of a thug than usual, most likely, with a lock em down and beat em brainless mentality where killing means a damned thing, and a charm em and let the brainless ones cry about their kill-count while those with a clue move on in the content where it doesn't. Could just crack out the baby sorc more often.

No significant changes for the arty. Probably go with fatesinger+shadowdancer for a while. Pitty there's so little in dread that's worth much to that type when it comes to transitioning to Shiradi.

I find myself glad my clonk's built primarily for casting with a side of stunning, since 'holding church' still works. At least for now. Not that I've been real motivated lately to level the thing.

Few old concepts I'm lookin at here and there in terms of 'things that should not be', like 13/7 rogue/paly.

For clarity: twists cost Fate Points, not AP. (Well, more properly, upgrading the drop-in slot does.)

After the dust settles a bit, I am going to TR my monster build fighter into an Artie. She'll have one past life fighter andone ranger. I'll probably add another Ranger eventually for a little extra crossbow damage.

Melee (except tanks) are now, and have been, a dying concept.

Yeah, the flexibility there is upgrading one of the lower tier AP enhancements in a destiny you're not actively using and synergizing with it.

Example would be that Draconic energy shield twised while you're using magister for instance, or vice versa with one of the magister abilities.

They'll certainly add a few interesting changes that may or may not be tested between now and next Monday.
