It might also explain why there's been so many problems with wine after update 16.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to characterize the localization failure as a late-term abortion. Possibly post-birth.

Speaking of things that need to get aborted, is myddo ever going to come out of beta? When the player-run site yourddo works better than Turbines, you'd think that someone close to the levers of power would want to start asking some pointed questions.

That already came and went. Gaikai was suppose to take the place of regular DL...it just didn't work well. Cloud gaming is coming...but it is not quite there yet. Maybe 2 or 3 years away...maybe the next consoles i.e. 720 and PS4.
