OMG, that's a great idea to continue the previous one... a shortword shaped like a buttplug to complete the set bonus!

No worries - but your point's valid - no he's not yet been that retarded - but the Eveningstar Clerics "reward" sword and potions of wonder foreshadow his mindset.

Potions of wonder are SUPPOSED to be funky like that - I actually LIKE what he did to those.  I remember when I first started playing, those things were stress-inducing (killed me outright a couple times) - then they got lame.  So there - FoS has a compliment from me on Potions - but not TOO raving a compliment, because I don't want him to think "oh, they like random, I'll do some more"...

The only one of those swords I'd like for my Tempest is the disruptor one... I wouldn't complain about the radiance one at all - I pulled prolly 6 of those things with the fire effects and holy burst (now that I think of it, I mighta gotten a radiance one... would have to check that character) and gave up.

Pissing collectables down the sink without predictable results of the turn-in is frustrating, not fun.

OK, true!  I wasn't swiping at him there, tho - just thought that'd be hilarious.  I started to photoshop that whole set onto a helf this weekend, but couldn't get time where the kids weren't walking around within eyesight of my monitor.

EDIT: Dammit, now dante's gonna ninja THAT idea... I should just stfu

I have 3 rotting in my bank and am still looking for more, so I know your pain, but then again they would be the default rogue weapons until they get their citw weapons!

That randomised turn in thingy was hideous, I am amazed anybody went for it tbh. Couldn't even stomach trying for the cloaks due to tedium although thankfully the caster one is soon to be obsolete.

I don't mind the cow, particularly in a Citw, lets face it, you have to do something to make that raid interesting somehow but I am not a fan of random loot in general.

Random named loot or random chest loot? If its chest loot would you rather Turbine just put plat and gems and tomes in chests?

I make the occasional one since I keep getting dragged into challenge farming for guildies cloaks.
Best I've pulled was Blazing, Frozen, Annihilating, & Fracturing. Decent, but not worth farming for.

The one mod that seemed interesting, Life Stealing, seems to be a toned down version of it too.

At least you can make bad ass throwing weapons.  Cheesy

I think he wants to add mechanics that he feels are cool, rather than using mechanics that actually work.

When they start "fixing" stuff that wasn't causing an issue I think you can see the end of the game.

While see the reason of a 5 minute cooldown on the heal flask it's fucking mindnumbing why the fuck would it share the same counter with Heroism, that you can get on a 5 charge no level BTA clicky.

More on the outfits. I'm figuring since Feather took credit for the redesign he's responsible for everything related:

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=409570

"
Hi, i found 40 messages in my mailbox with 40 crabby cloth outfits that "were restored by an admin". Am I the only one ?^^
Not in 6 lifes Skar ever did have one of those

Edit: I sold now 55 outfits and mailbox still has many more of them. Seems to be 100-200."

Another thought on it:

http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p=4916267&postcount=2

"As for the outfit thing, the "hotfix" was to prevent anyone else from losing their outfits, who logged on after the hot fix. They started to give back the missing outfits, via mail, but their script to do so wasn't as intended. It ended up giving back characters every outfit that the particular character either received in any quests they did (for a certain period of time), as well as apparently ones that were available as quest rewards for that period of time. Basically players were getting more than they actually had in the first place. Beyond that, their official reasoning is here:
http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p...20&postcount=8"

After I heard there were issues with outfits, I didn't log on to a server with any characters that had one that I wanted to keep so I can't verify the truth of the speculations.

I suppose we could just blame his parents.

If they just send a BtA outfit with a LGA slot to every account that lost an outfit everyone would be happy.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.
