Just tractor and Raspi?

You need to get your Raspi to do something on your tractor somehow.

FoS, did a great job improving the look of outfits they are now invisible.

Feather is VERY GOOD at his job. He told us so!

There should be no "exclusion of regular loot", even rodrak said they come from the plat/gems table.

I was wondering if Rodrak had checked into that already. Thanks for the clarification.

They may come from separate tables but it's possible that it's dipping into that table too many times.  Instead of two roles on the loot table and one on the gem table it's two rolls on the gem and one on the loot.  Or it could be the loot boost f'n things up as usual.

They say that it doesn't reduce other items, but hasn't some epic loot tables been jacked for a couple of updates? It isn't like they really know how the loot tables work. They fired that guy.

Based on the error message, outfits might be recoverable. It looks like a bad join based on them deleting a reference record.

Can't login to game, but if you had a lootgen item deleted from the bank or inventory, do your bank/inventory spaces add up correctly? ie Do you have 23 open spots showing if you visually count, but according to the display in the bank show as 78 of 100 used? That would imply there is an object there that the code can't display because of a failed query.

Not really defending Turbine, and the decision to get rid of outfits makes no sense (except the one with the sticks in the back that make you look like a spatula when you're barkskinned. Fuck that outfit), but honestly I don't pin this on them as a technical fail. I can totally see how it could have happened. The character wipe on lama got rid of any existing items where it might have been noticed, and the stray person like Dio who lost an outfit on copy may not have been given a great deal of attention because character copy is otherwise not reliable. Remember the speculation was all about it being crafted. On lama, since outfits didn't drop, the bug obviously wouldn't be noticed, and who really would notice if outfits stopped dropping? Or morningstars. Or greataxes that look like rakes. Or any number of other things.

To me, on this one, its not that the error occurred, but how they address it

Instant asshole. Just add alcohol.

If you're dumb, maybe... you'll always gain more from the exploits than you lose from the bugs.

to be honest, I just login now to chit chat and play with friends. please dont tell me a version of chestapalooza is back, would be typical turbine though. I dont have time during the week to play or run through the list of old exploits and bugs that keep coming back.

it does make for interesting forum drama though, so keep those macro's running Grin

FOS replies:

It didn't.

That bug was fixed.

The evidence for that is pretty plain: Wail of the Banshee is actually hitting and affecting enemies. The bug seen on Lamannia was that it did nothing.

Happy 7th Anniversary.  It's nice that after 7 years you finally have a procedure to test spells.  Better late than never I guess...
