	Well, that's fuct - I'd never seen that before. I already was ineligible because of Saudi Arabia, but this is the first time I saw the Germany thing... Does Berlin pre-fall-of-the-wall count as Germany, though - that's the question.

	This is the same reason I'm ineligible, due to my studies in England before, during and after the Mad Cow Cull. For other reasons, as well, I can't even donate organs or tissue...I can give blood only to myself and since I'm not Lance Armstrong needing to blood dope... I am just very amused by all this. We've been using our evil dodgy blood for years as far as I can tell. IIRC, most of the people with human Mad Cow were people who worked in abattoirs or otherwise came into contact with a lot of the prions. It's hardly my field of expertise, though. Sadly, I am way too much of a wimp to give blood, even if a van came round locally
