Am I missing something with these trees or did Turbine actually nerf racial and class HP enhancements?  The FvS class only gets +15 and only then if they go into the protector tree.  The fighter class only gets HP from the Stalwart Tree.  1 HP per point spent.  (That screws Kensai on the HP a bit).  Barbs also seem off.  Frenzied Berzerker only gets +20 HP, Occult gets +30 (but only after spending 40 points in the tree), and Ravager didn't seem to have any so they'd have to dip into the Berzerker tree to get the +20 over there.  The cleric does now get the same +15 HP as the FvS, which is a boost for that class, but that is the only class getting more HP than they have on live.

The racials I saw seemed to have dwarf as the only race with the same HP line.  WF was lower than live (+15 max as I recall) and other races had nothing.

It seems like most builds will be off by 20 HP or so, maybe more.

At this point, I can only assume they are trying to run off remaining customers.

No.  They effectively integrated Racial Toughness I and II into the Heroic Durability feat.  It now grants 5 HP at every 5 class levels.  (Though in typical Turbine style they Feather_of_Sunned this effect and made it best exploited by 5/5/10 builds.  Grin )

Quote from Vargouille:
We've taken out most of the racial toughness enhancements. We had previously found that Toughness was considered mandatory by many players and wanted to make it more of a choice than before.

Instead, we've added +5 HP to Heroic Durability (a feat that all characters start with at level 1), and characters also gain +5 HP when you taking the 5th, 10th, and 15th class levels for any class. (That's tied to class levels, not character levels, at this time.)

Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

That's OK on the racial front as every class had two toughnesses for +20 HP that took 3 AP to get.  Now you don't have to spend those.  Humans are the only ones who seem to be off then.  Dwarves actually got boosted.

But it's still a problem for the FvS, non Stalwart fighters and all Barbs.  Haven't seen the pallys yet to know if they are getting hosed on it too.  I'm betting the DoS Pallys will be fine but the HotD/KotC's will get nerfed.

Because, you know, too many HP was a problem, really.

Humans got a nice little replacement with “Don’t count me out”.  +10PRR while under 50% health seems more useful to me than 10 HP.

Can’t comment on those as I only have a kensai fighter and I’ve had to wait 2 weeks for him to get his fucking Racial PrE.   Angry

New Divine Might is nice:

Divine Might (3 ranks)(2 AP): You gain your charisma modifier to strength as a sacred bonus for 30/60/120 seconds (20 seconds CD)

plus it casts instantly.

Still waiting to see if the STR bonus will end up stacking or not with defender stances.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

I very much so like this.

More of a reason to have a higher charisma on a paladin than just more saves Cheesy

How many pally levels do you need to get it?  Current minimum on live is 5 for the first tier, so 6 levels of pally would then be a sweet splash for any melee build.

They were just stacking when I tried it. Sacred for might vs Competence for defensive stances.

You need 2 levels and 5 points spent in the tree, in addition to the 6 points it costs.
They get turn undead naturally at level 4. A 2 level splash should be able to use it with the turns from the sentinel destiny or cleric levels.

I tested this last night and it was not stacking.  When Sacred Defense stance was active, Divine Might did not appear on my buff bar.  Once I dropped out of stance, Divine Might showed up.

6 Paladin is going to be a great melee choice.  Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see 14 Paladin/6 Ranger TWF tankish builds.

STFU.  Nothing good is coming from the enhancement pack.  It's all nerfs and shit.  Multi-classing is dead.  DEAD I say!  Maybe you didn't get the memo.

Please get with the program.  Posts like this will confuse people into thinking the sky is actually not falling.

I don't recall seeing the buff icon at all, but the extra strength seemed right. Logging back in to poke at it some more.

Ok, not stacking... Not sure why it seemed like it was before.

Every bonus in the defensive stance line is listed as competence, but is sacred in actual use.

The one interesting bit I did notice while I was poking at it is that Divine Righteousness is working for melee, ranged, and spell threat generation.
