At first glance i thought it was some kinda Finish Hockey memorial? What the fuck is with the blue n yellow?

Blue and yellow are the colors of the Boston Marathon.

I know this cause I have a friend who has ran it yearly for the last 7 years and he qualified next year and will be running again.

I was waiting to hear he was ok for an hour after hearing of the bombing. He finished about 30 minutes before the explosion.

Known issue: the Pear-Shaped Trampoline sends you up higher than you were initially, breaching the barriers of the game and crashing your PC/Mac. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If it's really because of the Boston marathon, it would've been interesting if they set it so that people who walk by would get the longstrider spell cast on them. More interesting if it lasts for 26.2 minutes.

Anyway, that's just the way I think; something more of symbolic significance than anything that actually affects the game (since most people will have better striding anyway). Oh well.

I'd have posted about this on the DDO forums, but of course, am one of the ones that are unable to log in right now. Le sigh.

It's where failed teleporters fall and possibly die.

Would it be wrong to set off a demolition charge on the marathon memorial? Too soon?

It's also where you end up if you jump off the edge in von 6.  I'm sure some guild will end up as a collection of soul stones there after a run at some point.

Let's just call this the "Soturi Memorial,"  that'll spread on on Ghallanda at least.

No soulstones in public areas, just ghosts.

There's no connection whatsoever.  No sign, no nothing.  Could be a poop chute trapdoor to drop shit directly onto Guard Kayd's head for all I could tell.

I guess "the smart ones" are supposed to see it, and immediately understand it's significance.

Guess I'm glad to be one of "the dumb ones."
