Oh, but there is! I'm not terribly great with it, and it often takes me a bit of fumbling. But it goes something like this:
1) Hold Ctrl, and then right-click to link any item you have in your inventory. Don't press enter yet, though, to send it to general chat yet.
2) Left-click (normal mouse click) and HOLD somewhere inside of the text that is now sitting in the General chat entry field. When you click, you must keep the mouse button held down.
3) While still holding down the left mouse click button, start pressing the Del key to remove any text that you do not wish to appear. For example, you could have linked 10,000 Siberys Dragonshard Fragements. If you click and hold after the 10,000, you can then start carefully deleting Siberys Dragonshard Fragments from out of the field.
4) While still holding down the left mouse click button, type in the text that you want to appear. Here you could type Globes of True Imperial Blood.
5) After you have the text as you wish it to appear, press enter to link it to general chat. If desired, you can then press Enter, up arrow, and add /tell Crunch to the front of it. Or /1 to send it to a UserChat.
6) Lol, as hillarity ensues.
