I'd like to see a series of nerfs that leaves halfling shuricannons as the most powerful build.

IMO any nerf to bladeforged will be on the cooldown of the reconstruct. (I hope they don't read this)

I found this while looking for a heal spell race, and thought I would share.

Yes.  If there's going to be Pay To Win, might as well just go for it.

I'm actually impressed with that dev post. It was pretty good.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Christ, chone!

The good thing about nerfing Bladeforged is that the people stupid enough to believe something so blatantly overpowered would never be nerfed are also stupid enough to buy the next blatantly overpowered item Turbine puts into the store.

This is Turbine's business model.

Family, Country, and the US stock market. Although, in a pinch, any convertible currency or liquid asset will do.

I think this nerf list is exceptionally well thought out. The only thing missing is a 50% nerf to Master's Blitz, balanced out by better protection from medium and heavy armor.

The biggest challenge to making the melee nerfs stick is the tidal pool of salty tears from the melee contingent. If melee players could actually play their dumb ass one trick pony toons as well as they cry on the DDO forums, they wouldn't need even more buffs to feel adequate.

Turbine keeps buffing melee toons, only to find out that melee players are even more incompetent than they imagined. It is a never ending cycle.

Playing a game with an active combat system is just beyond the reach of the skill level of a large percentage of the player base. Hello Kitty Online. Farmville. Just some options for the people who can't cut playing even a dumbed down DDO.

Seriously, I will say goodbye to a game I have enjoyed for over 8 years.

Doubt I will ever play another MMO. If I change my mind and do wind up playing another MMO, it sure as hell won't be LotRO or Infinite Crisis.

Can I have your account when you do quit? It's for friends who want to play the game yet don't want to shell out (much) for the content that I play.

*yawn*

What did you expect ?

At first there was Power Rangers... trhey nerfed Power Rangers... Then there was Nuking Sorcs, they nerfed Nuking Sorcs... then came the Monkey... they nerfed the Monkey... Then came the FvS... They clipped the Wings of the FvS and nerfed it ( and the cleric along the way )... Then the PM Wiz came in Favor, it got a nerf, and to make sure the Sorc wasn't going to take it's place, it got nerfed along the way..... then came all the funky builds we have now... With monkcher leading the way... Monkcher will be nerfed hard, Furryshot will be nerfed... and Bladeforged will be hit along the way...

*shrug* I don't care my builds are pure class gimps, so it won't impact me unless they hit one class specifically.
And anyway a month after they release the nerfs a new flavor build of the moment will be ruling over everything else.
C'est la vie.

Like I said in another thread, Turbine should just release a list of all the builds that they won't nerf. It's like they want us all to be lemmings, obedient to their will as to what they want us to play and how they want us to play.

Also, I stand by my theory that the devs should have a mandatory playing period in-game, without god mode, just so that they actually get to see the damage they've wrought in the game.

I hope Orien gets Majmal and Cordovan. We'll babysit Majmal til he's a level 28 monkcher of full awesomeness. And we'll get Stoddard to "help and advise" Cordovan.

/tinfoil hat on

Simple, they nerf archers and BF melees, casters of various flavours will become FOTM, then they nuke casters from the orbit.

I'm glad they are nerfing Bladeforged Reconstruct. However, they should nerf Arcane Reconstruct too along the way. No class unless it is a Clr/Fvs/Drd should be able to heal themselves that easily.

Oh and nerf Joy of the Queen. That thing, when it procs, is absolutely OP when paired with Chain Missiles.

So many nerf requests!

Halflings have Heal per dragonmark, and you don't whine about that.

Joy of the Queen should remain as it is - it does not proc as often as, shall we say, monk stunning fist.

Why not buff the other classes instead? Paladins get Heal as their capstone/level 18 ability. Barbarians get an inherent stacking Blood Vigour effect - killing an enemy casts a lesser vigour spell on the barbarian. Bards  get bonuses to their wands/scrolls/spells depending on their total modified perform skill.

Instead of pulling down the good classes, it might be more beneficial to buff the poor classes.

Fuck you. Joy of the queen procs prolly less than 5% of the time. It's underpowered.

Shame, are you one of those tards that relies on what you perceive to be a healer to heal you in quests? Anyone calling for any nerfs is a fuckbat ........

Buff Me and Heal Me!!!!!

But let me ask anyone here with a good head on their shoulders.
Why nerf?
Why make what is viable in EE content weak?
Why not instead throw some perks and raise the power of the other classes to make people want to play them again or use them in their splash?

Don't take away and make your players upset.  Throw some bones at the less fortunate  and make them worth running again (ie...make SLA recon work while raging).  Then if you want to throw in those barb levels and go fury melee with tons of crit multipliers you will have to build better because of a feat starved class.
