do they take watches? I mean all of them go afk, then take turns to relieve the guy on watch? What if there are multiple instances? They spread out over those too?

Heat is awful. My people come from far Northern stock. I don't usually feel the cold until 5 degrees or so after everyone else in the room has complained. But the heat, I seem to feel it 7 or 8 degrees before anyone else.

I feel yah there.. i can sit outside with nothin but shorts and a t-shirt at 10 degrees or so.. without even feeling it. I cant stand anything hotter than about 75 degrees.. im just a winter child..

Well, but 45 °C by very very low humidity. With 32°C in Tokyo it was very very difficult to survive.

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

Great if there is a Zombiepocalypse too!  Low population and isolation + safe location.
Of course, you would need to survive said Zombiepocalypse first.....

i hate cold. hate hate hate. i'm the one in a sweatshirt when everyone else in the room is complaining they're hot and turning the AC up (then i like to freak em out by sticking my ice cold hand on the back of their neck to prove 'yes, i really am cold, no its not my imagination'). i spent 2 summers in TX with 100+ degree days... and was happy.  i only like snow if i'm sitting by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate looking out at a fresh-fallen bed of it. driving in it, shoveling it, walking thru it, dealing with it in any way... sucks.  also.. OMG the mosquitoes in WI are HORRIBAD this year. i swear i think if i stand outside for too long they're going to carry me away.

and on the topic at hand... stalking the epic altar? heh. seems i've been missing some interesting... features... while my internet was down.

(it's not 100% back yet. still can't play. but at least i can read and post on forums and check my email again...sloooooooowly.  *sigh*)
