One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

No one at my alter, in fact since I was standing there I saw one person run to to it, stand for a second, look at me, and run away.

I don't care if they are gathering around the epic altar as long as I can get my TR heart without exploiting and without getting reported. >.<

Otherwise I need to switch altars on the airship, but plat isn't of much use lately anyways. Cheesy

I don't think naming names would be a good thing for me to do, but I'd pretty much add anyone who's a know-it-all dick on the list. Even if they are sometimes intelligent with their opinions, the way they state them in long, "i'm a lawyer at trial"-type posts makes me want to punch them in the face. They act like whiney babies with god complexes and then freak out if someone so much as breathes criticism in their direction.

why do people bother doing stuff like this?

I remember when people use to bother with crunching the dragon shards that could take a while.

What if someone crafts then goes afk?

How do people find the time to do this? When im logged in im either playing or afk.

Haha maybe by watching certain stations they are giving clues to the people who do not know about the exploit as to what might be broken?

And some people park their mules with the relevant ingredients near the altar, bank, mailbox, AH.

I still leave one parked on the ship to hold that instance (from the old days of guild ships disappearing or missing buffs).

I leave one at Necro and one near the crafting area bank to crunch items.

Yeah, I like to find the 14 people who play there and torment them for being socialists without deodorant or handguns.  Or, maybe, I stated something which wasn't true...  Maybe.

In any event, I saw a level 2 unguilded toon at the epic altar last night.  I /told him that Turbine has folks flagging names and cross references IP addresses for mule accounts. He disappeared quickly.  Hope he didn't spend much to get a shared bank.
