	A new, shield-based class? Are they seriously dipping into the bullcrap that was the Tome of Battle? That stuff was the prototype for 4th edition. Edit: On second thought, the issue with the Tome of Battle was the "once per encounter" cooldowns. Since DDO has no such tech, they'd just make them timer cooldowns or X monsters killed around you cooldowns, and therefore, much better than the source material. I change my opinion and now support this, if only to allow Turbine to produce something better than the book from which it was spawned. Edit2: Also, yeah, Cetus just made the "maths solve nothing" argument, which I believe was the last straw before Shade became an utter laughingstock. Go back to your pathetic private group server and keep thinking you know something, chief. We don't want it.

Probably making a shield based class which is more dps than any current melee. The main problem with tanks is, that for most quests you don't need tanks. Then we have some encounters where we need to tank a boss but usually a toon with evasion is better off than a S&B Paladin/Fighter/whatever. And with all the all around toons lately who are build for beeing able to solo EE, a class/enhancement that focuses on traditional group setups is just a waste of development time. But guess they are working on a shield based dps type, probably with better dps than current melees. Then Cetus can make some new videos.

	@Cetus - The vault is the worst place to have a real discussion.. most people are just here to fuck with you because they don't care at all about game changes, and the rest are just here for the drama.. It's obvious that you are defending the playstyle of your main character BUT you have taken the time to show some videos (and all the fucks who criticize that data haven't shown anything themselves..) and I respect that. This is the vault after all, so unless you enjoy that kind of attention.. I'd stay stick to the regular forums.

	Think the main problem with some of his videos is that he is comparing single mob dps of SWF and THF to proove THF needs to get buffed. But THF is an AoE fighting style and SWF is supposed to beat THF when fighting with only 1 mob. If THF and SWF would have nearly same beatdown times on a boss/red named, then THF would need to get nerfed.

I think most of you have sticks up your ass and are wanna be trolls/douchebags. He might be the author of the Kensai/Monk/Paladin splash, but in a heart beat he would give all that up to go back to pure Fighter again if they gave us viable melee tactics. I'm not sure if your all jealous or you just have your heads shoved so far up your asses....

	Lol.. I have nothing to be jealous about, and my head is very well where it is. I just respect the time he spent making videos, and even if they are not perfect (like fighting large mobs often..), they give a good idea of what to expect from each fighting style.
