This is my proposed gear set up for my int based completionist shiradi sorc.  Although it's INT based without maxed CHA, I'm still going to care about DC's through energy burst and hellball.  Also, I only have +5 tomes.  With +6, I'd probably try to fit in litany.   Feedback welcome. 





Head: +3 blue dragon insightful int (green and yellow slots)
Neck: Mystic eidelon (green slot)
Trinket: Greensteel 1
Goggles: clever 10 spellsight 20
Cloak: prismatic resistance 10 (green slot) - swap for different element absorbs
Belt: Health 10 dodge 10%
1st ring: Lantern ring (green slot, colorless slot)
2nd ring: Sage's Ring (yellow slot)
Gloves: greensteel 2
Boots: Orcish Privateer's Boots. (colorless slot)
Bracers: +6 str / superior parrying (yellow slot)
Armor: Flawless blue dragon (blue slot)

1st weapon: Thunderforged kama - Impulse 150 dwarvencraft lore (purple, orange and colorless slots)
2nd weapon: Thunderforged kama - Fire 150, spell focus evocation, fire lore. (orange and colorless slots)

Greensteels:
Greensteel, conc opp SP - cha skills 6, int skills 4, diplo 10.
Green steel, balance of land and sky HP - stacking +3 all saves, str skills 6, con skills 4, dex skills 2, balance 11

Slots:
green - good luck +2
yellow - fear immunity
green - +2 evocation DC
green - +16 PRR
green - +100 fortification
colorless - globe of true imperial blood
yellow - 250 wizardry
colorless - vitality
yellow - [[empty]]
blue - false life 40
colorless - +15 perform
colorless - +8 dex

purple - sonic spellpower
orange - meridian fragment
orange - electric

stats:
Global modifier: +2 ship, +2 completionist, +5 tomes, +1 globe = +10
STR base 8 + 6 item + 10 = 24
DEX base 10 + 8 item + 4 insightful + 10  = 32
CON base 18 + 10 item + 4 insightful + 10 = 42
INT base 18 + 7 level ups + 10 item + 3 insightful + 10 = 48
WIS base 8 + 8 item + 10 = 26
CHA base 12 + 8 item + 10 = 30

That has obvious answers.  Spellcraft is INT based.  Perform is for Audience with the Queen.

I have no idea why anyone would bastardize a completionist like this, though.  A first life toon would have 99% of the effectiveness of this hideous mutt.

Thanks.  I tend to disagree, and I think it's more of a personal choice.  Between hellball and energy burst with high DC, I don't feel any problems blowing up groups of mobs.  But shiradi has way higher single target DPS and also SP efficiency if I really wanted to.  There's also a ton of built in survivability due to being able to deep splash with little drawback.

No doubt shiradi works great for you (what's your current build btw?). I guess for soloing you prefer BF and high saves (sp isn't an issue anymore) and it is a matter of taste. Regarding aoe and single target damage lets agree to disagree.

I don't have access to the post you linked but I take your word for it and stand corrected regarding hell ball.

Considering you are centered your gear setup seems fine.
Idol of fortune really is a good trinket for you.
Getting +6 exceptional int skills gs item is probably the only thing i'd suggest along with a diamond of perform for your spare colorless slot but those are very minor details.

I'd say don't forget your spell augmentation potions and CoV universal sp pot but I know you're a meta player so not gonna bother

Manual of stealthy pilfering from HH has +3 GL, 6 int skills, 6 dex skills, 5 UMD and green slot

Random gen trinket would also be an option, but those are pretty rare and getting one which suits your needs will be a pain I guess.
