it doesnt turn purple on a FvS test toon with 1 stack of Shield of Condemnation.

Could they have fixed it? Or is that normal?

Or maybe its light damage got fucked up by one of the millions things that screw it up  Undecided

Still works and that's the way it always did.
Smacking a mob that has light vunrability with your rainbow stick will increase your damage.

Melle/ranged against a mob/boss that has "rebuke foe" (an underestimated EA ability) on it will do more damage (5%-25%) though the melle/ranged toon will have no indication of this other then seeing bigger numbers then usual. Having no indication of the damage is probably the reason the ability is less known/appreciated.

If you have an EA in your party check the boss debuffs for it. If he has multiple stacks of rebuke foe or even a continuous stack of 5 in a long fight then you can say that player has some skill.

Not entirely correct.
You'll see purple numbers on a mob whenever it was debuffed (like from vunrability stacks or savant awaken weakness) except for a few rare situations (see my post above).

Savant awaken weakness gives the mob a pseudo racial vulnerability or at least overrides their original one.  Of course if they are immune then they are still immune.

If you want to test that theory out  use awaken fire on a icy creature or a troll and watch it take less damage than if you had not used the ability.

So I'm looking at a FvS/Bard SWB that uses Celestia For Light damage. FvS has 50% Debuff, and FateSinger actually has 15% stacking Light Vulnerability too. EA can get 10% more, but stacking 5 stacks of Rebuke Foe takes for ever (its not underrated, it's slow). Then again, Bard stacks proc 2% also, so 50 hits on average per stack, which is what, 15-20 seconds in SWB with DS and Alacrity?

Fatesinger also has +3 Unique Damage, 24 Melee Power with U23, 3% Unique Damage bonus, 50% Sonic Vulnerability stack (good with SWB) and Reign.

Problem is, once you're a Displaced, Ghostly, 30% Dodge High AC SWB not sure how much you end up getting hit.

Am I missing other sources of Sonic and Light vulnerability?

This.

The celestia and light vunrability was nice for a combo of celestia using tank with a crown and a rebuking EA.

The way the game is today guards aren't something you count on since A you aim to get hit less and B parties just roll over trash so fast.

I have a unique bard build in mind that incorporates fvs in it but that's for different reasons.

That's interesting.
Best to test it on an elemental, trolls have 15% vunrability iirc but ice elementals should take double fire damage.

Swashbuckling: Stance: You gain 1% Doublestrike and Doubleshot as well as +1 to the Enhancement Bonus of the weapon in your main hand.

this turns celestia light type into magic, no idea if it's going to work with light vulnerability, but it won't break any DR other than magic
