He likes doing videos of how to get past traps in ddo without disabling them or having evasion. Some good pointers there, that I would for sure take advantage of, if I wanted to get past those traps on a non evasion toon.

most times I just trust that I can heal faster than I take damage, but e.g. getting past the blades in von5 on ee can be tricky for me. Sometimes I run head first into a spellward (ee End of the road).

First rule of not taking damage in ddo: don't get hit.

That doesnt work when you jump twice and you hit space once.

As for that video, pretty much what I do in there every time. Except the pressure plate part. If you cannot run/jump that fast you might not be able to get through before the traps spring. He should have mentionned the solution is right on the wall before it, and shows which plates are safe to jump on.

Wish I had a connection good enough to upload videos. I'd do one for every single quest in the game. Stupid download/upload limits

Exceedingly rare that you can't avoid traps w/o evasion.  Most people are either too stupid or too impatient to learn how to do so.

People struggle with traps?
