Has anyone else tried something like this?
12 Bard/6 Fighter/2 Rogue
Shadar-Kai
STR 8
DEX 18 + levels
CON 16
INT 14
WIS 8
CHA 12
Weapon Finesse
SWF
Precision
Shield Mastery
Empower Healing
iSWF
Improved Critical: Piercing
gSWF
Improved Shield Mastery
Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Kama
Improved Critical: Slashing\
OC
pSWF
pTWF
The idea, obviously enough, is to maximize DPS while getting as much PRR/MRR as possible while still having evasion and a useful reflex save.
Forester's Brush Hook gives a 15-20/x4 crit profile with this setup.
Is there anything that can touch that? If not, should I drop 2 fighter levels and IC:pierce for 5th level bard spells?
The only other problem is gear; there is a distinct lack of good named light armor at end game. Is it better to just use crafted/lootgen?

Um, guys? I'm not sure why, but I am winding up with a 13-20/x4 crit profile...!
I'm getting 15-20 on normal kamas. Does swashbuckler add to crit multi before improved crit doubles the range?

Yes. Most threat expansions work like that. Even Exploit Weakness.

Yea, a paladin in my guild and I were comparing notes.
The brush hook is easier to get, though

I did a dex based swash with 13 rogue levels. Bard doesnt offer me much that I dont have in clickies.
I would suggest a thunderforged hand axe in LD. r even light pick in DC. You will crit a lot more with brush hook, but swashbucklers dont have any problems criting in the first place. It's not like the sireth dilemma with staff builds. Exploit Weakness on 45-75 Attack speed and high doublestrike build is just dumb.
Shadow Striker armor is fine. 2d6 sneak dice, +1 to reflex. And chance to proc 6d10 neg energy dmg when missed. Velah armor is good too. 1d6 fire on hit and 2d10 fire burst on crits.

Yea, was looking at shadow hide armor, but I think I'd prefer the DR to the sneak attack; light armor caps PRR.
