Thinking of going Pally/Rogue

I want to TR my multiclass rogue into something else, and was thinking of going:

BF 15pal/5rog and use Sireth as my main weapon.

This would give me holy sword/zeal, T5 staff specialization.

Then maybe run in DC/LD.

Any and all advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Competence bonus. Sword and staff spec dont stack.

Take 2 level of rogue for staff alacrity. splash 2-3 monk levels in there as well for centered bonus. Stance, dance flowers(2.5 (w) bonus with holy sword), sireth in DC should be 10-20 crit range, and multiplier of x5 on 19-20 in earth with holy sword and oc

I did not know about Holy Sword and staff spec not stacking... darn at that. But this leaves you free to spend AP in other trees. I assume you won't be going dex. You might want to look into the divine cleaves that paladins can get, shares cooldowns with cleave and greater cleave though - so you might want to skip out on greater cleave.

Will the staff damage line from rogues and monks stack? I thought they do, but I haven't tested.

Well damn thanks for the good info!  I would have for sure fucked that up.

Maybe just scrap the whole rogue stick.

BTW how did that 15pal/5ran dual deathnip build work in epics?

Cool thanks!

I am just looking for some fun build to try and play for awhile.

I saw some hints around here on the vault of a defensive roll build, and that seemed really intresting but have no clue on how to build that.

There is Haek's Zeus build on the forums that uses Improved Defensive Roll. And I made a rogue swashbuckler dex based that uses it. Both are not on par with pally dps and survival. Being honest pallies shit on every other melee build right now

For a Sireth build I went 15Pal/3Rog/2Ftr before they changed feat requirements for OC. Decent defense and good dps for a staff build. I went Bladeforged with Addy body for the PRR/MRR. It's my second favorite melee that I've played so far. I prefer to run in DC for the extra crit profile but LD is great for blitz.

Pure pally either thf falchion or swf bastard sword. Thunderforged procs, and crit ranges in DC 13 or less.

I'm really curious about the 15pal/5ran dual deathnip.  I think I'll go with that.

Any pointers that I might need to know about?

Just run it in DC for higher crit range.

Wear as much armor piercing as possible.

Should I switch one out later for a dragons edge/mortal fear?

I feel like TF weapons beat out nips completely.

You will give up tier 5 kotc includes cleave and sealed soul. Can make up for sealed soul as robot, but human is imo better for the synergy in DC and extra feat plus the feat saved from not having to take adam body as a robot for hvy armor. Take 1 fighter level over 5th ranger should be able to get manyshot. Sestra's build thread on forums has his as 18/1rng/1ftr and fits in manyshot.

Precision over PA, dragon's edge, red slot deconstructor, and twist in grim precision.

Dumb question:  Why deconstructor?  TF is already Metalline.

Ahh, Destruction, never noticed that before.
