anyone having problems to launch the game? I havent changed anything on my pc lately, and today whole day I couldnt and still can't play

keep getting "an update error ocurred
                   Unknown error: 8fffffff and some random numbers" anyone having or have had  this problem?

It means they detected unknown items that were duped on your account. Few threads about it on ddo forums.

Then it just means you traded for items that were duped. Whether you duped them or not, they are on your account.
Read the ddo forums to see all about it until someone starts linking them here.

The devs have said this is caused by unique identifier errors in the item database, most likely from duped items.

Just wait for your ban to be over from having duped items on your account.
It's probably a two week ban, if after 2 weeks you still banned, maybe it's a month. Think after month, it's permaban. Not sure.

Hes serious, I never participated in the dupapaloozas but your error is the same as mine was during my 2* 2 week bans.

Just hope you dont get your inventory wiped on every character whilst they exercise extreme prejudice.

Never put a ticket if you have shit that could even be considered duping...too many ingots...banned...scales...banned...cards banned...coms...banned.  Every time you put in a ticket they are required to check your bags now dummy.  When will people remember this shit? The two weeks gives them time to go into everyone of your toons and throw any ingredient you have out.  Doesn't matter if you got them legit or not, they are trash.  They spent 10 hours on a buddy's account manually going through and tossing mats and anything that could be made from them.  Have fun grinding coms and phlogs.  You're a F2P player I bet...VIPs don't have this done to them, I experimented, made a F2P account, threw some duped cards on it put in a ticket and *poof* banned and shit was gone, including my cruncher. VIP account they helped me out Smiley

well, thank you all for scaring the bejesus outta me, it's halloween anyway, time for scares. It turns out, turbine sent me an email saying the problem was on my end probably with my cable net provider, I called my cable company and now I am questing normally, all my items are there. gosh I DO have a shitload of scales and flawless scales and most named items u can think of, Im not f2p per say, since I bought all the game has ever launched, all expansions, races and classes. I am a NON-vip p2p.
