Bonus points to Mrs. 1% for emailing the article to me...

One thing for everyone who is a "skeptic" on this issue: Insurance companies are basing their underwriting on the assumption that it is real. They are refusing to write policies on homes that are likely to be in danger from rising seas 20 years from now, even though the resale rate of the homes is so high that they could keep writing policies for another 10 years and still not have to pay out on 1 policy in 5, but that would be irresponsible. Unethical, as well, but that's never stopped anyone before.

Did I miss it, or is there no mention of DDO/Turbine/WB & TOEE in there?

HAAAA

I just thought of the shitfit uska is going to throw when the classic Greyhawk adventure is set in the Realms.

It's totally worth DDO not being mentioned at all in the article.

Yes.  They mentioned the Neverwinter module for TOEE, but not the DDO release.

They seem to be focusing on content across all delivery platforms.  We recently got a Cult of Dragon quest in DDO , which would be a lead in to the new Tiamat content that WoTC released for PnP.  And it looks like Neverwinter has done or is doing a Tiamat module as well.

I also find it amusing that wizards only has 1 mention of ddo on their entire site.

I saw that today and read it.

Guys, DDO has so few players now, I'm not surprised they don't advertise. They're probably embarrassed..

I did a WHO panel count on Khyber recently on a Friday night and counted 450ish people total...

Khyber is top 3 for population. So, that tells you that fewer than 3k people were on DDO across all servers.

It's dead.

In other news, I really like 5th edition. I've bought all the books so far.

A half-dozen boss Vaulties donated generously with real money to my classroom during a fundraiser in May 2015 to get poor kids books to read. I won't forget that. They know who they are, and they freaking rule.

Once you meat your personal goal you might want to give that some consideration.

Good grief Meat, you're hopeless. You would label the simple act of taking a shit as someone obeying the divine law of nature to leave a proof of existence.
