I was giving it the benefit of the doubt and assuming it was relevant at level 26. But it is clearly eclipsed by comparable items.
Looking at the upgrade path and powers, it really should have been positioned lvl21-25 to fill in that gap. Even then, some would argue that is only a few hours of playing, so why bother.

Is it just me or does the final upgrade mythic look like a tack-on afterthought?
The Mythic power would be a nice to add to any weapon we choose. Why not make it like the Festival ice addition, but make it harder to obtain?

There were two or three of these. They look like little grey stools, with a tiny chest - usually around some big fight and illuminated and sparkly...... like that tiny chest with one shroom is really, really special..... until you see you need 200 of them.

Besides the crafting part of it, the XP part is also bad... they made it a level 28 quest and the base XP is about 50K... and the quest takes a fuck-ton amount of time.

There has to be a motivation for players to run something.
Shit loot + shit XP = Epic fail.
If they're so worried about wasted development, why not put a carrot in to run it.
I know not everything is XP/Min, but this might be the worst XP/min in the game. Much of the areas are optional so I can see ways to shorten it, but no avoiding collecting those keys.
Does anyone know if once you complete part 2, do you have to keep redoing part 1 to access part 2? Can't find the time/motivation to run it again.

It was made abundantly clear to them on the PC how bad the loot was. And how pointless weapons are considering we just had TF, and GS has already been announced.
The problem, the new weapon models were made before this council was chosen and the development didn't want to waste them. It's hilarious.
Bright side, one change was made because of us, the devs didn't realise that wooden weapons take damage from oozes, the elemental bane club was originally had ooze bane. Everbright was pointed out as an option, but was ignored.
It's all good though, weapons have been released, so the models weren't wasted. lol.
Really? Sadly, this is no surprise. Publish it because we have already done it. Shit is still shit.
They possibly could have recovered the work by making it lvl 21-25. It is not lvl 26 gear..

I got 2 shrooms on HN just dicking around for 30-40 mins on a bank toon.
I haven't got a good feel for it yet. I've only done a casual exploratory run through Part 1.
I got interrupted several times, but it took about 2-3 hours to explore everything in Part 1. Took my time looking for secret doors and breakables.
As I mentioned, I only got 8 in that time. If the spawn points are constant, someone will work out an optimum farming run, but can't say it will be me as there is nothing I want in the loot.
