Tbh if you want to run in dreadnought I think straight 18/2 is way better. I had the mindset of ranger for slayer cause I also happen to need primal lives. Furyshot off cool down is a huge spike in dps still. Not to mention grabbing another click attack like sniper shot to insta bluff. Again that's if you want to be in fury. Otherwise just 18 rog x for more sustainable dps Smiley

Doesnt pally just offer up zeal/holy sword bonuses and some better bab/ac/save ?

Currently running a 14/6 pally/rogue who is doing quite well. Need ranger lives, so plan on 11ranger/6rogue/3druid next life.

Sneak attack damage is nicer than a quick glance at sneak attack dice might lead you to believe. I was initially worried about putting blinding fear on my tf weapon, because I have been frustrated as a melee when the mobs I am trying to cleave get blinded and spread out due to blindness, but the extra damage from sneak attack means EE mobs don't live long anyway.

Been waffling all over, spending hours working this out, and my gut tells me you guys are on the money with 18 rogue/2 arti.

Now just to figure out what weapon to take.  Im making a GS radiance great xbow to get me from 15 to TF safely since im lacking in gear, but I if I get a needle, I'm going to have to figure out what works best for me.

Did anyone figure out if procs/haste works on every shot from a repeaters volley btw?

Understood, but one more feat vs the loss of that hate drop, exp retreat, heals, and def couldnt be ignored.

Now, onto the other big thing: the Xbow itself.

Im so new I made a GS Rad 2 great xbow on my main and then realised it was bound to character (DUH), so lost a ton of mats on that one and gs is now out of the question in any case.

I crafted a great xbow +9 with a red slot (meteor in it) and weakening for the -1 str loss to go on top of the enhancement based str penalty on mobs along with deception as a suffix.  Damage is a bit over 40 with mechanic tree fully buffed out.

Im wondering if thats the best I can do until  TF weapons though - is there a better cannith craft, or do any of the TOEE weapons work better?

What have you guys found to be useful outside of greensteel for levels 15-24?

Can anyone explain this?  Is he talking about the GS secondary imbue and it not working for ranged?  If so, why doesnt it?
