So I just TR'd into my seventh life as a barbarian. I was looking on the forums for cool builds and stumbled upon this very old "blacksmith" barbarian build. It is essentially a duel warhammer wielding barbarian, but this build is from many many updates ago. So this is my go at an U25 blacksmith build.

Race: Human/PDK(whatever you prefer)
Alignment: Chaotic Good (just to spice it up a little since I am always lawful good)

Stats for 36pt build:
Strength..........18(put all points into str)
Dexterity.........13(Need at least +4 tome
Constitution.....17
Intelligence..... 10(for umd and such)
Wisdom...........8
Charisma.........8

Feats:
Level 1 - Power Attack, Cleave
Level 2 -
Level 3 - Weapon focus bludgeon(or completionist if you have it)
Level 4 -
Level 5 -
Level 6 - Heavy Armor proficiency
Level 7 -
Level 8 -
Level 9 - Two weapon fighting
Level 10 -
Level 11 -
Level 12 - Improved crit bludgeoning
Level 13 -
Level 14 -
Level 15 - Improved two weapon fighting
Level 16 -
Level 17 -
Level 18 - Greater two weapon fighting
Level 19 -
Level 20 - Yay!
Level 21 Epic - Overwhelming critical
Level 22 Epic -
Level 23 Epic -
Level 24 Epic - Great cleave
Level 25 Epic -
Level 26 Epic - Perfect two weapon fighting
Level 27 Epic - Epic fortitude
Level 28 Epic - First Blood

Epic Destiny: LD
tier 1 - Extra action boost 2/3, Constitution
Tier 2 - Momentum swing 3/3, Improved power attack
Tier 3 - Lay Waste, Action Boost Haste 3/3
Tier 4 - Anvil of Thunder
Tier 5 - Advancing blows, Devastating Critical
Tier 6 -  Masters Blitz, Pulverizer

Twists: Symmetric Strikes, Sense Weakness, Rejuvenation Cocoon

I posted this because I was wondering if there is a way to make this build even better, even if that means multiclassing. I am definitely interested in trying to make this build more self sufficient.

CHA is used for UMD, not INT.

I don't really get how that's self sufficient other than the Divine Crusader ED.

Pure d crusader barb is pretty much the most selfsufficient build you can build in ddo atm when you stack up on amp gear/palie plifes

I am sorry guys.
The best barbarian is "Khyber non caster build".
In Fury, no umd or blue bar. Csw pots for healing.

OP, I'd move Great Cleave to 6, doesn't matter if you have heavy or medium in heroics.
And would choose epic Haste. Don't see much value in epic fort, your fort save is good anyway, and there's always Unstoppable and Harper pin.

More PRR and ac is always better no matter what level and why waste a feat on perma haste when I get it from epic boots of the innocent? I do see your point about the harper pin, I forgot about that.

You have 55 ( or even more with some Martial lives ) ac in Sands on any melee toon.
I think the best heroic armours are Marilith chain or Full plate of the defender ( or maybe it's just nostalgia ha ).

Epic Quickness does give extra Dodge and Reflex no ?
Plus it lets you wear Orcish privateer boots ( I'd want perma Fom and fire absorb surely helps in Mod )
Just don't see any value in epic fort, that rare failed save on Flesh to Stone or Soundburst is easily taken care of with Pin and Unstoppable.

Innocent boots are cool for Lay Waste I suppose, depending if you have Mythic Gaze + Consuming Darkness setup or not.

Failed Will is more dangerous imo.
Deathwyrm trash duty, Cry end fight, white Tor dragon, Mirror end fight, Shiradi grease procs, Madstone end fight - I suppose you can switch to Privateers + epic Ethereal, but that's not really ideal.
But it's epic, you can always try different thing after etr.

Lay waste is only affected by your total character level and strength mod. As a side note, mythic emerald gaze already possesses +5 combat mastery.

Not really if you're willing to switch to picks, but if you're dead set on hammers for flavor, then yeah, go LD.
