	I'm not seeing any indicator this is working when I click them, other than a cooldown timer. No combat log, no effect bar icon, nothing Am I missing something?

Both of these effects trigger on a succesful attack. Like stunning blow and trip. If you activate before you attack, like you would do with blitz, then you will not see any effect.
