But it's just plain stupid... it's a niche PvE game with a niche system and a very specific appeal : people that know about PnP. It's not a mainstream MMO.

As far as I can tell, they do a background check on your infractions ( both in game and in the forum ). While Forum Infraction are ( relatively ) easily overlooked as long as you don't pile them up ( I had one active infraction [ 1 Point ] and an expired warning when I joined the 2014 PC ) , I suspect that In Game Infraction are scrutinized, and if you got caught ( and dealt with with EXTREME PREJUDICE ) in the dupappaloosa cleanup, it's probably going to put you at the bottom of the application pile.
