Advice for Melee Sorcerer ... Heroic build only. (Read 1898 times)

	So I am looking to build a melee caster. Right now on a toon that is several levels deep in Sorc as a drow. It thought being fire specced rather than air would be a fun change but it's just a different color of boring. So anyone have any advice, is a EK based Sorc possible in Heroics or am I barking up the wrong tree here? And Yeah I already realized I should have thought this through and pumped up INT for the harper tree instead I went balls deep on CHA. Got a base of INT 14 but still it should have been at least 16 if not 18 ... meh such is life. So keep in mind that the key point is heroic only, melee and I expect sword and board is the best way to go given that my melee DPS will be lower. Danka

	Swashbuckle it. Cha to damage. Respec to Air Savant to power up Resonant Arms. Put just enough points into WC to get Frozen Fury.

	Aannnd I just realized that this means that I won't be an eldritch knight then eh. War Chanting Sorc instead. LOL that is precious, Turbine adds an entire destiny to make a melee caster and the best choice is to splash somewhere else instead. Figures.

	So I am thinking that maybe I go 12/6/2 Sorc/Bard/Fighter Don't worry about the skirimisher dodge but SWF with Heavy armor and a buckler. fighter gives me the heavy armor and two feats to dump into shield mastery, etc. Does PRR depend on BAB still? If so it might not be worth the fighter levels and heavy armour.

	Can't swash in heavy anyway. 9 x/7 bard/4 rogue is an excellent past life getter build. 23 AP in Assassin gets you Killer.

	Thanks man ... damned toon is at level 5 as a sorc right now might pair it off and go with the bard / rogue ... might just finish this life and do it right next one though! Thanks
