Definitely morningstars, they're WAY better than heavy maces AND you get racial bonuses to damage and hit with Shadar-Kai.

Deathnips up till 23.
Balizardes if you got em till 28.
Then scimis or rapiers thunderforged till cap.

Honestly for leveling deathnips could take you 14-30.

Khopesh is nice at lvl 30, but is just barely ahead of scimi/rapier.

It is not ahead until higher levels (26-30).

Is taking Overwhelming Critical "just barely" ahead of not taking Overwhelming Critical? Because Khopesh Proficiency adds more than OC.

I'm just waiting for Sev_Pay to "work on the animation" for Khopeshs in some pass this year. Although I really shouldn't bitch, the Xbow rework was amazing for some of us.

I go with Khopesh on strength based and Scimitar or Rapier on dex based.
