Eldricth Knight for Sor past life and maybe 20+? (Read 894 times)

	Hello guys. I am wondering if a split of 1 FvS/ 4 Ftr/ 15 Sor would be viable for lvl. 20+ or if 2 FvS/ 6 Ftr/ 12 Sor would be better. Race: Warforged Just flavor and convinience, iconic is no option, I'd like to TR at lvl. 20 if I choose to do so. Else I got a bunch of greatswords lying around and don't want to grind for new versions of those weapons for 1 past life. Starting with max CHA and STR, lvl. ups into CHA for Divine Might obviously. So I had high DC spells at heroic levels + melee dps by THF + Cleave feats and ignoring spells in epics completly since 12-15 CLs do shit on endgame SR mobs. Else Ftr stance for PRR. But since this would be my first Eldritch Knight attempt I'd like to get some opinions from more experienced players. Obviously lvl. 1-20 can be done with anything at a certain point bu will it be a fun melee is the question ?

	If you like to melee, then by all means, go melee. It should work just fine in heroics. Paladin instead of FVS+Ftr is an option, depending on what feats do you want. I would not worry about EK much and instead go Tier 5 in some good class tree, maybe KotC if you go Pally, perhaps even Harper.

	If u really want to play eldritch knight builds in hard or elite ep contents,you better choose swashbuckler/kensei as main tree instead of ek... common builds are 12sorc/8fighter,12sorc/6bard/2rogue.. Melee or DC casting,hybrid builds are all trash However,basically any build works in heroic contents...
