	Trying to revive my old toons into useful ones. I have a sploiter Ran/Rog/Monk with GS rapiers. Are rapiers viable on a Tempest Dread build these days?

	Race? You'll need to craft new weapons anyways.... Yes rapiers are viable, however since youre re crafting anyways...

	Yes that toon is currently lvl 20, first life no EDs or epic levels.... all heroic gear. I stopped playing about 3 years ago when Guild wars 2 came out

I am probably better off leaving that toon in limbo and TR my TWF khopesh fighter with one fighter and one Pali PLs into a human tempest... focus my energies there...

	Rapiers suck for tempest because you have to waste a feat on weapon finesse when you should be using scimitars if you are dex-based (or better yet khopesh and str-based if you plan to melee full-time.)
