I live on 45 acres. I'm guessing you know when your neighbors fuck.

There is that... While I don't know when my neighbours fuck, I'd love to live in 45 acres...
But that's still a good number of years away. Unless things change a lot at work.
On the other hand, once I get the fiber I'll be able to host my own version of The Vault at home.  Roll Eyes
( and even on a 45 acres piece of land, here you can probably manage to get a fiber laid by an operator or the French equivalent of the County. It will probably not be FTTH (at first), it will be FTTN [ Fiber to the Neighbourhood ], but if they can reuse the electricity pylons, they will go FTTH. [ basically if there's no hole to make, they just go the whole way, fiber is cheap, makeing holes to put it in is not cheap. ] )

Takes surprisingly little bandwidth to host this forum. I used to host it from a home "server" - an ancient Dell 8200 - and many thought it was better than the (now former) webhost I moved it to.

I don't think naming names would be a good thing for me to do, but I'd pretty much add anyone who's a know-it-all dick on the list. Even if they are sometimes intelligent with their opinions, the way they state them in long, "i'm a lawyer at trial"-type posts makes me want to punch them in the face. They act like whiney babies with god complexes and then freak out if someone so much as breathes criticism in their direction.

Please.  Clever had nothing to do with it.  I haven't noted Snook to be terribly clever.  Just his choice of employment points to that, as who would want to do his job?  That is not a rhetorical question.  Who would actually want his job, unless they had no other option?  I would work in a call center before I'd do his job, and that job is entirely thankless enough, as I know through both conversations with the managers of call centers who had to deal with the huge turnover rate due to the rules they enforced for time on the phone with each customer and also colleagues and friends who have worked such jobs and have been in tears about it at times.  It sucks ass, and I sympathize entirely.
As an aside, Turbine seems to be a bit better.  I've only have to call in about 5 times, but each time I've had a good experience with their call center personnel, and they have engaged in lengthy chitchat with me on a couple of calls.  If they were judged solely on time to resolve metrics that would never happen.

Being the weekend and putting in limited time on a weekend seems a more likely explanation for Jerry's post, since he left all the posts with outright cursing and he usually deletes/cubes those.  Unless I missed some, but there are still animated gifs that clearly violate the TOS in the thread, and a lot of other exchanges that usually get cubed.

My favorite part is his lack of historical memory, since the first 2016 member casualty posted something as equally harmless and yet was still dropped.  That's a great case of laying down the law and then picking it back up again.

"We have zero tolerance for NDA violations, so this guy is toast" vs. "Meh, I don't see anything too bad here, we're not really trying to be all secretive and stuff, chillaxe."

Jekyll/Hide like.

Take a breath there champ. I'm no Jerry fan but for him it was about the best he could achieve from the situation. Refusing to see when a foe has pulled something off doesn't help, it just makes it easier for them to surprise you down the track.

Nuff said.

NO ONE will ever accuse Qhualor of being the sharpest tool in the shed.

Do not try the patience of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.

We are dreamers, shapers, singers, and makers. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner, holographic demons and invocation of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things.

He basically outted his handle on this forum as well, since I doubt it's a coincidence a member of the Vault made an identical threat on this board in response to my Jihadi John schtick that got Flav to wad his blood-soaked panties up in a knot and start crying and flipping out.

Quailwhore is Remi/Grand etc; he's been busted by the angry players on Sarlona he pissed off, one of his accounts (not his main) has been perma-banned; and he's staring down a firing squad.  Therefore, I must work at MdDonald's AND have gotten fired...by him...because.

That's amazing.  Also, that qhualor literally admitted to duping.  Of course, no repercussions for him.

It was proven by others before he admitted it; his confession was more of a surrender coupled with a plea for mercy.

I was surprised he was so brazen about admitting that.

You've been fighting the good fight on the Mobo's - aren't you worried about blowback from the forum Paladins?
It would appear that anyone who frequents here is a dirty, exploiting low life cheater (unless it is them doing research for Turbine of course)...

I reported him for that..  on 3 different accounts.

I also reported the majority of his posts in both threads as a violation of the community guidelines since he is encouraging other people to troll and harass Strakeln.

If nothing else, I at least made slackovan do some work since he'll have to skim the reports.  If he takes action on Qhaulor, that's a bonus.

I tried to report the post where he called someone a dumbass, but the report tool kept lagging out. Felt like I was playing the game.
