I'm curious about what the resident shuriken build experts think would be the best offhander for a 12/6/2 Ranger/Monk/Fighter Fury Shuri build.

I'm currently using a MF TF shuriken.  For enhancements, I use a mix of sneak attack die and AA acid elemental imbues so ranged power and corrosion spell power are both beneficial.

The ToEE offhander and set bonus provides a total of 197 (156+21+20) spell power for the imbues plus 20 ranged power.  If I switched to a triple dex LGS offhander, I would gain 8 Dex but lose the spell and ranged power.  I might be able to slot corrosion spell power elsewhere or use an aug but it would still be a net loss to total spell and ranged power.  I most likely be stuck shuffling gear around and have to give up another stat or useful effect in the process.

Thoughts on which of these two is the better option or is there better alternative?

On a related note, which, if any, of the LGS tier 3 bonus effect procs work on shurikens from the offhand?

Any gear suggestions would be welcomed, too.  I have access to pretty much any of the end-game named items.

• Ring2:  EE Consuming Darkness
• Quiver:  Epic Dynamistic Quiver

You have no monk levels. The extra attacks from net dex gain will not compete with what you lose from ToEE.

Were you thinking of Vacuum instead of Ash?  Since Ash doesn't stack according to the wiki, it seems pretty lackluster.  Actually, the wiki says it stacks and then says it doesn't, so not 100% sure.  Vacuum seems to be the closest effect to 1st Degree Burns on TF.

If you dont have +14/+6 dex gear at least, then yes I vote LGS. If you do have the dex gear which is relatively easy to find (I had many on main before canceling my accts) then I say ToEE set.

The downside to an L Ooze LGS offhander on a Shuri build is that it requires an earth/water combo for tiers 1-3.  That limits your choice to Str, Con, or Wis which is nowhere near as good as  a 15/7/2 Dex item.

After quite a bit of testing, the 20+ ranged power and 47 additional spell power you get from the ToEE set bonus vs the 6 to 8 Dex from a 15/7/2 Dex LGS offhander is better, especially if you are using the Arcane Archer imbues.

Make an Air/Neg/Air Vacuum LGS shuriken and roll with the ToEE robe + ToEE caster offhander.  It  works really well.
