We when given TRing and past lives didn't use it as a reason to go back and replay content with the new players and when we did we just used it to show off and dominate. And many of the raiding junkies also made quite a shit storm on the forums too I recall hating any RNG gear even close to matching let alone surpassing raid gear.never wanting to acknowledge how small a portion of active players ever bothered with raiding and thus made it pointless to virtually even make raids as even with the best loot the very poor design of them turned off many players. Especially those who didn't enjoy holy trinity game play like needing a devoted healer and buffer.

I think devs often ended up taking things personal and like a pissed of DM they tried to actually come up with ways to poke at whatever part of the population they wanted to view as the real problem.

Ghostbaning to me was two part plan first give us RNG so sweet and salty it hit all of our yummy tastes buds. Then took our munchies away after we got hooked on the buzz. Hell not long after we got our participation trophy boxesboxes. And since then been told to play the game with smaller parties even raids to help avoid lag.
