Codex runes farming (Read 9195 times)

	Hey, Recent returner to DDO and I started making 4x mat/opp pieces for my warlock. I ran a few LH shrouds, grinded curse the sky/creeping death to ransack on LE and I ended up on... ~600 codex runes. At that pace (without using raid resets), it should take me about 192 days on one character to get 15000 codex runes to wear 4 pieces. Am I missing some other sources of codex runes or are those 3 quests it?

	Wait another month or two and I'm sure it will all be obsolete.

The raid is many times faster than the quests, if you want 4 piece set for 1 character you need to run it with several characters on a daily basis though.

	Yup.. thats all there is.. Thats dat grind... get on it... Make More alts... Oh and thank turbine for giving you something fun to do for another 190 days or so. But im guessing if you quit your job, quit going out, and then grind that shit on ransack constantly on multiple alts.. im sure you can get that shit down to a lil over a month.. not too bad of you ask them.. 	I have only ever played one character since 2009, currently at 3xepic, 3xiconic, 3xheroic completionist. I am not leveling and gearing up an alt just for one raid� I have 3000 ddo points left over from subscription fees and favor from TR-ing. Raid reset tokens it is, i guess. EDIT: Ah yeah, thanks for clearing it up!

	@ 200 runes a hard run That's 15,000/200 or 75 runs 75*150 = 11,250 TP if you run only one character every day @ 350 runes an elite run That's 15,000/350 or 43 runs @ 2 elite runs a week, that's 21 weeks or 5 months. Compare that to 2.5 months and spending 60 bucks.

	Make a cleric for reaper, or a warlock for the lolz. Run 4 shrouds a week. Don't use timers. Its a game, you'll get that shit eventually. Probably in 3 months if you do it that way.

	After a brief reconsideration, I rolled up a warlock. Equipped it with whatever I could and started leveling. Should be up to 30 in a few days at this speed... it should save me quite a bit of DDO points.
