They really need to do a complete update to the old named gear (ala the Cannith Challenge gear).  Even if we still had the stupid S/S/S mechanic, they could make it where they do incremental upgrades.  (ex. Scroll = EN, Seal = EH, Shard = EE)

All suggestions regarding old epic upgrades have fallen on deaf ears. It's almost as if they're only interested in adding new, incomplete systems instead of completing any of them.

Just running a 1 skull life seems to be a good option.  The extra 'challenge' from going up to reaper 1 skull from HE is countered by the bonus mana drops, so why not?
