Any thoughts on the 32 point build to dropping one point of starting Constitution for a higher starting INT to fit UMD? Still dead useful even on a first life character. Hell maybe even the 28 point build.

That comment applies to most of these newby builds, aside from those with UMD in their class skill list.

Easily the best skill in the game if you know what you're doing. This project is for those that don't know what they're doing though.

This is true. Hopefully the tree has a good write up in the character creator. Otherwise, we are relying on them noticing the exotic proficiency, equipping the right weapon, and seeing the THF icon pop up in the buff bar.
