	One of my mules was banned recently. I was putting stuff on Shard House that was bound so guildies could get them while I got some shards out of it. Maybe they figured out how I have been doing it, but I doubt it, since it's been around for as long as the Shard House has been.

	They have too big of a cut.. way too much.. its complete bullshit.. I can see plat.. but the shards are stuff people paid for. It shouldnt have one. Or be like under %10 tops..

	Somebody was an idiot and was caught laundering duped stuff ? As for Bound stuff, there's a category of Bound items ( BtCoE IIRC, already bound to C ) that can be sold through the Shard Exchange, resetting the Bound status to the buyer on acquire.

There was a time astral diamonds dropped in game, and could be redeemed for shards. Other than that your monster manual will occasionally reward some shards, and about as frequently as one might expect to win the lottery a daily dice roll could throw a few shards your way. That being the case, I happen to know there's currently a metric fuckton of shards in circulation right now. I don't know the technique, but I know some of some trades that were run through the shard house for crazy prices. It's obvious something is up when an item that sells for $50 on the DDO store sells for an amount of shards that would be worth $500. It's not hard to draw a conclusion on the source either. The shard exchange is down, and now you can't access the rewards on your monster manual. I'm guessing somebody figured out how to endlessly redeem that 10 shard reward.

Never buy a cake again, just pop 35 shards for life, again good for high reaper while your party is busy getting squashed and then they don't have to worry about when you're off Rez timer. Buying all the other duped mats on the AH with your dupped shards. Perfect economy.

	Somebody probably went hard on the 35 tp thing to buy boxes.. I was planning to try that too but was sketched out by that.. I figured that would bring up some red flags.. More than the other stuff id think.. This was like the reusing of astral diamonds.. a very small amount that youd have to do a shitload for it to be worth doing.. But obviously i was missing something cause it sounds as if some peeps scripted or something and made tons it. Anyone else try that one? Not sure how well that one worked..

	There are definitely way too many shards out there for it to be a worthwhile secondary currency. All they've really done is re-created all the problems with a plat cap.

	I mean i didnt do anything with the shards.. but like i said.. i can TOTALLY understand why others did.. They (ssg) rape people for way too many of the shards in the ah.. Then.. they make it fucking impossible to get them in game.. you can get what? Like 15 or so from the mm if you kill everything (idc about the number but its low as fuck). And then.. you can get it from dd.. which is a fucking rip off too.. i wouldnt waste stones on dd even if i had a fucking million of them for free.. I used to roll on dd.. years ago, i got a few +6 stat tomes that way when i rolled 100s.. now.. if I roll a 100.. wtf do i get? A shitty bta +4 stat tome at best... maybe a skill tome idk.. but after a few friends and I ended up with +4s multiple times.. I quit rolling.. fuck that greedy ass shit

Platinum is more valuable for reaper resource drains like scrolls and ap resets. You can level 1-20 with ~17k shards on DD. Easy mode with an autoclicker. Might just be that the RTR grind was just one grind too many.
