I am getting tired of the bug that doesn't allow you to click on anything.....until you cast a spell. Anyone else seeing this bug? You get done with a fight, go to loot and the game doesn't let you click on the chest. Or you try to go through a doorway (breakable door or clickable door) and the game doesn't let you....The only way (I have found) is to cast a spell on myself...like Mass Aid (doesn't matter what spell) and then I can click the chest or go through the door. Angry

Not experienced that one personally.  Can you do something else on your hotbar?  Drink a potion?  Enable/disable a metamagic?  Enter leave stance, etc?  Swing your weapons?

Do you have a key getting stuck on your keyboard?

I'm getting tired of the bug where sometimes I hit the DDO shortcut on my toolbar. Some idiot put it there years ago, and it has impacted my QoL ever since.

Are you clicking on your avatar instead of the door/chest etc and targeting yourself?

It happened to me in mirror darkly the other day. i couldn't use the mirror anymore. that sucked big time. i was one orb short of endfight.

wrote a ticket. ingame gm took over 12 hours to answer aka close the ticket: can't help you with that, use bug report.

i still have bug reports no one ever took a look at from last year ....

ssg: be big on something, be incompetent!

Not sure if it's similar to OP's problem. But sometimes it happens that stuff stays selected, even if it shouldn't, and autotargeting stuff / chests / treasure bags does not work. I think hitting Escape works, or first selecting myself via F1 and then Escape to clear selection.

So is this anything like the bug where after you loot a chest sometimes you can't move forward? Taking a step sideways or backwards clears it, but it's another "really, how do you code this shit in?" moment for SSTurbineG

Just experienced something similar to this at the end fight of "Disciples of Sharn".  Killed Dedryk Black and the other disciple in the end fight with him, but could not click on either of them to capture them.  Switched weapons, turned aura off and on, tried a few other things but I'm not sure if I cast a spell on myself.

Major difference though:  I could click on the chest (although it was locked as I hadn't completed) and other items, just not those two NPCs. I just recalled and went and did druid's deep instead.

I am not sure if I tried drinking a potion but I know I can't click on something when I attempt to click and I swing instead (FVS carrying scepters). I have hit F1 to select myself but that didn't help either. I have guildies that have also had the same thing happen. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an rhyme or reason as to what causes it. Others in this thread have mentioned it is a blocking issue. Since my FVS has pretty good reflexes, I tend to heal in the middle of the fray while blocking. I will check the next time I am blocking. And No on the stuck keyboard.

1) Drag the attack button to your hotbar.
2) Turn off autoattack when it turns itself on despite you disabling double click to autoattack.
3) ...
