Gear for a Caster TR Train?

If I wanted to do a caster TR train, what is all the gear I should shoot for? This includes 3 each of Wizard, Druid, Bard, Cleric, FVS, and one each of Warlock and Sorcerer. I know I need Evo, Necro, and Enchant DCs, and basically every spellpower, as well as survivability gear, for at least 1-20 and maybe some of the better pieces of caster gear for epics. I'm just not sure what I need/want for something like that.

I know I'll want:
5 Piece Slaver's Set (including Constitution, False Life, Resistance, Spell Focus Mastery, and swap items if not always on for Cha, Int, and Wis). (started)
Fanion (started grinding for it).
Slave Master's Staff
Slave Lord's Trinket
Heroic/Legendary Pansophic Circlet (Got both already).
Cannith Crafted ML13 Cons/False Life/Ins Con.
CC ML 10 [School] Focus of Ins [School] Focus for Necro, Enchant, Evo.
Upgraded Quiver of Alacrity

Ring of Spell Storing/Epic
Twisted Talisman/Epic
Xachosian Earring

Possibly:
Epic Ring of Elemental Essence?
Blue Dragon Armor/Robe?
Skyvault Shield?


What else would i want for such a wide variety of caster builds?

I know it's a lot of items, but every addition to the list will help.

What skull difficulty are you aiming for?
Use the 20/80 rule. Most of you power will come from just a few items, unless you’re going for r3+ you don’t need to squeeze every last bit out. For instance the ring of spell storing is something I barely use, because I’m usually not at 0 mana before a shrine. Focus on items that cover all bases. Circlet, Con, spell focus, resist, etc. swap the individual caster stat. Your best bet is to just start yor train, rather then grind for it

In a perfect world, sure.  But how much time are you going to devote to farming this?  Are you going to keep a toon at level 13 to farm RXP once a day and ransack w/ rerolls for months until you get it?  DDO is the grandmaster of constipation. At some point you've got to shit or get off the pot.

Most of my spellpower items are Cannith crafted (Trinket/Weapon/Gloves/Rune arm).  With the main exceptions of Electric and Acid that I got from the Cannith Challenges (Bracers 3/7/11/15, Boots 3/7/11/15).

I’ll be able to tell you how far the Barovian (Ravenloft freebie) and Macabre (Heroic saga turn in) sceptres get me in about a week.

Gloves: Acid/HAmp/Ins. Acid - Cannith Craft ml. 8/11/15
Boots: Shackles -> Pre: ?, Suffix: Damage Guard (fire), Extra: Spell Penetration II. Bonus: Quality Charisma +1.
Ring: Con/Ins. Con/Sheltering - Cannith Craft ml. 8/11/15
Bracers: Shackles -> Pre: ?, Suffix: Damage Guard (Acid), Extra: Spell Focus Mastery II. Bonus: Quality Constitution +1.
Armor: Slavers Rags
Goggles: Necromancy/Ins. Necromancy/Ins. Spell Penetration - Cannith Craft ml. 8/11/15
Main Hand: Radiance/Radiance Lore - Cannith Craft ml. 8/11/15
Off Hand: Mutilator Of Minds


Lvl 8, 11, and 15 craft sets, use slavers from lvl 8 to lvl 20, crafted goods will last from 15 to 20 without need for more. lvl 8 crafted goods cannot hold Insightful shards, do not over-craft them, 2 of each is enough.

Replace Acid and Radiance with your primary and Secondary spell powers, for warlock this will be your Pact dmg + Radiance (and force if you can fit it in, slap some on the cloak)

Sorc will be your Primary Savant, and either of the two adjacent to it, Id go Fire personally, to make leveling a breeze, witha secondary focus on Acid. Anything you cant Burn, you can Burn.. teehee.. (get it.. cuz.. both fire and acid burn.. teehee)

Wizard, likely Fire again, with a touch of Negative, or acid again.

Bard gets lots of Sonic and Force play iirc.. for sure Sonic..

hvnt done Druid much, so dont know there..

Cleric/FvS both use Radiance and Fire, with a touch of Force for their blades.

The above set, modified to each spellpower specifics, will get you 1 to 20 in a couple days if your slow, as far as epics.. not sure, though if its just for those classes past lives, you dont have to epic at all.. so shouldnt matter.

Honestly, anything. Craft a set of basic gear for lvl 1 & 5. Keep to the above listed pieces for where to put what, youll have an open ring slot until 15 when you can put on Brazen, as well as an open Helm slot. Craft stuff for those slots if you want, its really not needed though. You could pick up a few extra pieces of Slaver gear to wear at lvl 8 if you wanted to fit those two holes, its what i did/do. If you fit the Ravenloft gear into things at 10 (I specifically excluded that, as have others, since you can only obtain raven gear if you have purchased the expansion), you can move around a few pieces to accommodate the sceptre of macabre. Honestly, its not needed at all for heroics. Would just stack more power on top of an already over-powered leveling setup for casters. Clr/FVS might benefit from Macabre however.

I use dual Daggers at lvl 1/5, first one with Primary Spell Power/Primary Lore. The second with Secondary Spell Power/Secondary Lore. Charisma Cloak, Strength Gloves, Intelligent Goggles, Wisdom Ring, Dexterous Boots, and Constitution Ring. At that level, everything else is just icing on the cake, low levels is a joke, the stat items are just for overkill, did 1 to 8 with just the lvl 1 daggers at first, because it wasnt hard. Added the stat items later to make lives go by faster, after hitting 8.. its even more of a joke xD

My likely set up, just gotta tweak out the slaver set up still. Deathblock ring when needed, unless i add wizardry to slavers, then perma Deathwarden

Although, its worth noting that both the Beacon set and Slaver set are Artifact bonus. Beacon set gives 20 spell power, 1 dc while slaver set gives 5 spell power, 2 dc. Will it be worth it to wear the slaver set even for the 1 dc gain? (and +1 int/cha/wis.. supposing that doesnt make you uneven, would be 2 dc gain)

hms.. thats not a half bad idea.. Still, no Force spell power on the build, just potency, so missing ~30 standard power + insight power on all 3.. while its likely not needed, could forgo the slaver set for crafted pieces instead.. do a 3 piece slaver, 2 piece crafted.

I was building with a fire domain cleric in mind, so burnscar can cover radiance.

The scepter isn't part of a set, so you could swap that out for CC impulse/insightful spellpower, but it's not much netted after losing Insightful Potency 23, Spellsight 12, Insightful Spellsight 6.

Burnscar is Acid/Fire.. unless im missing something, there is no Radiance in the above listed items.. Naturally I could be blind.

~Edit~ Or just havnt played cleric in forever.. forgot they got their Domain update.. Fire Domain allows Light power based use Fire if its higher.. cheeky bastards XD

long time reader, first time poster here.
this is what i've come up with.

head: CC: sheltering, spell focus 2, ins. prr 6
neck: kindred pendant (adherent)
goggles: GS HP conc-opp
trinket: CC light lore 11%, heal amp 22, ins. spell pen 2
armor: barovian nobles regalia (beacon)
cloak: mantle of fury (adherent)
bracer: mysterious bracer
belt: burnscar sash (beacon)
ring1: spinneret
ring2: skulled ring (adherent)
feet: softsole slippers (adherent)
hands:blurfingerred gloves (beacon)
offhand: the mistfallen (adherent)
main: barovian sceptre

versatility for wiz, sorc, cler etc comes from CC trinket where you just craft whatever you are missing in gear, like INT, ins INT for wiz.
edit: thats gear for lvl 10

But it doesn't allow you to use Fire Lore for Radiance Lore, so you still need to slot that somewhere.

I like 5fs's Super-Grind-Triple-Set, but I'd go Macabre + Barovian Sceptres dual-wielding.

Without a set bonus on the offhand, you don't have enough slots to fit Adherent with the other 2 sets...unless you drop slaver to a 3-piece.
