Driving off exploiting customers just feels like putting a gun to your head.
Again, they aren't banning people for spending money and buying Otto's boxes. I know you think you have some reason to suspect that is going to happen to you, but I kinda doubt it.
They aren't banning paying customers. They are banning people for exploiting to avoid spending money. (some of whom may actually spend money too, I understand)
If you run a buffet restaurant and a family of 6 comes in and buys 1 buffet meal and then all 6 go and fill up their plates and chow down, what do you do?
What if the same family keeps looking for new ways to get 6 people food off of your buffet bar for the price of 1 meal? They sneak in the back door. One distracts the server while the others go to the buffet. They go to the buffet one a time to make it less obvious.
Do you keep dealing with the hassle and the time it takes away from your properly paying customers to keep them from breaking the rules because "they are a paying customer" since the buy the 1 meal each time? Or do you just say screw it and ban them? Lose the 1 meal's revenue and increase your overall profitability?
Personally, to me, it is like speeding. Don't get mad at the cop for pulling you over and writing a ticket. He/She isn't the asshole. They are doing their job. You know know the law. YOu know the risks of breaking the law. You willingly broke the law anyways. Take responsibility for your own actions and cut the victim mentality, entitled bullshit.
