	Am not in this guild anymore but thought this was fun. Forum thread Ghallanda forum Quote: Banned Camp is recruiting The artists formerly known as "Captain's Crew" are under new management. All hail the God Emperor Bigjunk McGee, first of his name, King of the New Jersey and the First Pikers, Lord of the Nippleless Creatures, and Roaster of Halflings. We are looking for 3-5 new minions to form the core raiding crew for running the newer (and some older) raids on R1-R5 reaper on a regular basis. We are looking for experienced players who have all the packs, know what they are doing, and already have good toons. We are not looking for serial TR-junkies who never stay at cap, we already have too many of those. While we are not a "raid or log off" guild we don't see any point in adding non-raiders to our ranks. We are also not looking for new players. We're terrible teachers. Our culture is not politically correct, in general most of us spend our time securing better seats in hell. Our TeamSpeak banter is very adult and probably illegal in most EU countries as well as US universities. Thin-skinned snowflakes need not apply. A little drama makes life interesting, no-drama for the boring. Overall we expect people to be adults and solve their own problems when they occur. We are primarily in the Eastern US and events revolve around that time zone. If interested please contact our fearless leader in game who'll either be on Bigjunk, Snookie, Beefmissle, or Littlejunk (he used to have other toons as well, but we don't talk about that).

	Fuck teamspeak and fuck voice chat in general. In my eight years of playing this game I can probably count the number of people who didn't annoy me on voice chat on one hand. You get 3 main categories. Idiots with cheap gear or too stupid to properly set up their gear who get pissed when you can't hear them. Idiots with annoying voices who ramble about nothing through the whole quest. Delusional, self-important fucktards who bark orders that no one needs and no one follows and inevitably throws a hissy fit that things aren't being done exactly like they want. And I guess a 4th category of even bigger idiots who are a mix of the other 3. Unless you're leading an all newb raid party, there's nothing you can say over voice chat you can't type in chat with slightly more effort and way less drama for everyone else involved. The game just isn't that hard. If you think you need voice chat, you're just lying to yourself.

	Turbine policy - glitches and poor coding resulting in interference of your game play or enjoyment will be ignored.� Glitches or poor coding on the developers side that at all benefit your game play or enjoyment will result in your character being banned and/or items from your inventory deleted.� Please report all bugs via our bug report...when it works.

	Voice chat in DDO for party coordination is fine for me. I rarely, if ever have problems with volume or quality of others. The biggest issue is that you can't talk to people you aren't in a group with (channel, guildies, etc). That's where the 3rd party apps excel. And a text chat that is more persistent than guild or party chat for text is nice too. The tools provided are fine for "in the moment" communication in a quest/raid. They just don't extend much outside of that.

Well, you weren't really talking about being jealous of a guild. That concept is pretty silly because guilds are groups of friends who play together a lot which provides benefits in game. RG checks those boxes, as do most guilds. So yes, that concept which no one is talking about is dumb. You were asking Cripey if he was jealous of you, which, knowing Cripey, is pretty naive because he really couldn't give a fuck; you're just another squelched turd on his list. I have the rest of the game volume set to 0.03% and "master" volume maxed out, and I STILL have to turn the sound up to "neighbors going to call the cops" levels to hear about half the people talk. That's when the voice chat works at-fucking-all, which is also less than half the time. I'd be perfectly happy if the game had no voice-chat, but occasionally I get fucktards who tell me to "Buy a cheap pair of speakers" because I can't hear their bullshit commands.
