Thanks for the info. Now I have to choose the race, i am between Aasimar or Scourge. I am going DEX based.

Aasimar: 2 DC for dire charge, 5% DS click, 10 MP/vulnerability stance, but according to wiki can bug so switch on/off frequently.

Scourge: Free Favored enemy undead, perma 5% DS and 6MP.

Scourge seem to be more convenient, but a bit less dps.

9 ap for scourge : loh + 5% ds and 16 for aasimar to get the stance and the ds clicky is too limited and the cd too long

aasimar now, dropped maximize and dodge, picked up Kinight’s Training.  Den still might be better

I run Dex and do not use elaborate parry (or anything else in 2nd tempest column) as it eats too much valuable AP. I suppose if you weren’t running Meld, then it could be a substitute. Or if you are running into issues in which you need 2 melds. Don’t forget you should also have your dodge helm clickie, too.

I couldn't see reducing any trees other than maybe Harper.
I suppose you could spare 3pts from Harper for E. Parry...but they are so much more useful as-is.

Don't take Khopesh or Knight's training.   Take Weapon Finess so you can use rapiers.   Slightly different gearing.

With knights training, if you have a full compliment of racial AP  does scourge with maces become a viable option?  another multiplier is nice but not sure if that is enough to make the available maces worthwhile.

Yes. Which shifts again in favor to SoulWhelm even without stacks. The only gain on Beacons is 10% offhand, and +5/5, +1 multi if Scourge. I will math a more effective model to see what comes out ahead. As the previous math is a naked baseline comparison on a character with all values set to essentially 0.

Using 225 melee power and 15 doublestrike main hand for SoulWhelm. Using same for Beacons + 10% doublestrike offhand.
