	I�m trying to update my old ghensis-khan build from a few years ago. It seems that the tier 5 barb trees are the best dps. 1 level of favoresoul could grant my bard access to divine might for maybe 30 more STR? 15 bard levels are required for inspire heroics. Since the class level cap is 20, I�m trying to figure out how to optimize dps while possibly keeping inspire heroics.

	Honestly pure bard warchanter aint bad with vistani. I've been tearing through low skulls on solo even at cap as a pure warchanter with 22 points in vistani to pick up the good stuff. Not to mention I make everyone around me a lot better, and can prop up the serious barbarians even more with the 6% damage song. Unless your plan is to literally TR or something, there's no point in doing a barb splash on a bard.

	Well here's some thoughts: * Bards ain't among the best these days. * THF ain't among the best these days. Both are fun and work nicely in some content, some bards perform exceptionally even, and some THFs are awesomesauce in some content, but they aren't exactly top of the heap. Not sure if combining two underperforming things can result in excellence.

	Also, Inspire Excellence now only requires only 12 bard levels, if release notes can be trusted.

	get the gear you need before you TR imo, you'll feel good as you're leveling it I would['t worry about inspire heroics compared to divine might. Divine might is huge. The barbarian trees are super juicy so consider going pure barbarian. If you go bard, I'd say 14 bard / 5 barbarian / 1 favored soul, or something like that. Ear smash is huge from Occult Slayer. IDK enjoy man. Welcome back. Don't worry about getting the best DPS just role play what you want to. That said... go get your gear. It makes all the difference.

	Go SWF. You can combo Swash + FB T5 for 15-20x5 on generic handaxes plus a 19-20 multi from Headsmans in LD or +1 range in Divine Crusader.
