I dunno. Feels like maybe we're missing one or two still.
Then again, it could just be some stupid paranoia from the repeated nerfings of anything remotely resembling a fun build.
See, there's the issue. It goes from "It's right where we want it to be. 100 hours of playtesting. Same as a great xbow mech.", all the way to a bucket of nerfs at once.
I am assuming the reload nerf will not touch NHB speed, since that bypasses the reload animation all together ( hopefully ). The law dice, scaling, doubleshot, and mech tree nerfs are more than enough. Doubleshot nerfs bolts fired per attack from 4 to 5 shots, down to just 2-4. Droidz on mobos did some math and said that the reload nerf is around 3% loss on a sustained rate.
Fury, Shiradi, and Fatesinger times won't be too much slower, relatively, due to them already being so low on pre-nerf times. But LD and SD times are going to feel it, immensely. A shuri or dagger thrower become better ranged builds because the dps is now higher, on either burst EDS, or sustained dps EDs.
Nerfs in DDO are especially problematic, from a mechanical perspective, because the game has almost zero tools to assist the players with anything. And we end up having no way of knowing if what is being done actually works correctly. Like alacrity on lamania with throwers and bows. Devs are silent on the vile alchemist thread. The one with the tier 5 alacrity lol. Also, Daggers and shuris seem to be capped at 5. So do bolts on inquis on live.
